Anthony Mayatt lives in London, England and has enjoyed doing professional photography since 2004. His full time profession is as a self employed personal trainer and photographer across the capital.
Anthony loves to shoot nature, macro, landscapes and portraits & lifestyle with special interest in creating dynamic fitness portfolios. His equipment includes a Nikon D300, 18-200 f3.5 VR, 105mm f2.8 VR micro and 10.5mm f2.8 fisheye. Anthony has traveled much of Europe enhancing his photography in places such as Zurich, Stockholm, Geneva, Prague and Palma.

Q&A
What got you into photography?
My brother. He was into it a few years before me and always wanted me to carry his tripod for him while he took the pictures and just got into it from there.
What would you most like to photograph?
Two things, one would be the pyramids in Egypt and the other would be to get an aerial shot of the great barrier reef. Thats where I'd love most to go to more than anywhere.
Which image are you most proud of?
My cable car image that is in the landscape section. I was in one myself about 4000ft up a mountain in Switzerland going through the clouds when the shot kinda just appeared and i'm so glad it came out how I wanted it to.
What do you make of stock photography?
I love it. Photography is not my full time profession; im also self employed, and to think that people are buying my images is just amazing to me. Some very big clients have purchased my images and to see them being used is very flattering to my work. if you don't know what stock photography is you can find out here.
What are your plans for the year?
To do more and more portraits in different locations to get a more varied portfolio.
