Snowy London 02/17/2010

London has seen one of its coldest winters on record but for a photographer has given a chance to produce some amazing images. I decided to go to a victorian cemetery a day after a heavy snow flurry and got some amazing images. Its called Nunhead cemetery made in the middle of woodland on a hill in south london looking over the city. There is a new section where burials still take place but most of the graves are from the 1800's and are amongst the trees (very spooky on an overcast day). It will be somewhere I hope to go to regularly to do more photoshoots. Here are a few images taken from that day.

Soller 2009 10/01/2009

During the first week of September I took a much needed holiday to Soller in Spain with my girlfriend who also models for me. I feel like ive been doing photography for a long time now and have always been improving. This holiday has proved that in my opinion as I have come back with more images than ever of a good enough quality to sell, and after comparing to previous shoots these are the images im most proud of to date.

Below are a selection of my favorite shots from the holiday that I feel show my improvement as a photographer and I hope you like them.

These images can all be downloaded here

To my amazement about halfway through I come across one of my shots with my name this website and other info on there. Its the first time ive had an image in a magazine so is a really proud achivement for me.

The image is below but not very clear. My image is on the bottom right of my red cable car shot from Switzerland.

Once again I had the pleasure of doing a springtime shoot with my friend Mel. The shoot was based in Regents Park, London and a beautifully sunny day and the park was covered in daffodils and trees. To add something a little different to the images I got her to put a daffodil in her hair and go through various poses with it. I think the colours work very well with the poses and location and once again Mel has shown what a great model she is to work with. There will be many more images of Mel to come in future and shall be working with her on a regular basis. These images are available for sale just click on them and they will take you to the correct location to purchase.

Hi all welcome to my first blog on my website. I thought the best way to start would be to describe all my main photographic achievements I have made so far to date and each time I achieve something else that can be my next blog.

First main achievement would be where one of my images was included in the 2008 Schmap online England guide of an image I took in Hampstead Heath, London. The area is surrounded of very old architecture and was a cold quiet day so tried something a little different and was very proud to see my image selected. You can view my image used here.

Next big achievement was being asked to photograph an event for Tower Bridge in London. The event was put on for all the countires top tourist attraction owners and I was the only photographer there so felt like a lot of pressure but was proud to be asked. View my images from the event here.

I sold my first extended licence image on shutterstock. This license allows a buyer to resell the image on any product, on any media, such as t-shirts, posters, coffee mugs, calendars, templates, etc, on a non exclusive basis. See my image here.

I got an email the other week from a photographer telling me my image got selected as photo of the week by photographic shop Calumet. This is a european company and recieve many images each week so was absolutely amazing to find out I got this. If you would like to view the image click here.
